BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, JULY 109 1989 <br /> 'AGE TWO <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> `2 (Cont. j <br /> Mr. John Ferguson and Dr. Elizabeth Petti stated that they <br /> feel that there is no need for these machines. <br /> Mr. Carter moved to grant a license for t- e two video <br /> machines subject to the operation of the machines being <br /> one-half hour before the first show and not to be in <br /> operation during the showing of any movies. Mr. Hanson <br /> seconded the motion. <br /> Mr. Tullick responded that the movies do not run <br /> concurrently and that there is always somethin showing. <br /> Therefore, the machines would only be in operation for 3 <br /> minutes daily. Mr. Hanson withdrew his second. <br /> M . Hanson moved to deny the application of General <br /> Amusement Corporation to operate two coin-operated <br /> amusement devices at the Mashpee cinema in the Mashp e <br /> Commons. Mrs. Jacobson seconded the motion and Mr. Carter <br /> was in favor. Mr. Gottlieb was opposed. <br /> . A public hearing was held relative to the application of <br /> James T. Reynolds, d/b/a ckr Trading Post to extend the <br /> description of its premises for purposes of its Retail <br /> Package Goods Store All -Alcoholic Beverages License, <br /> Mr. Reynolds was not present for the hearing,, <br /> Mr. carter moved to continue the hearing to July 2 , 1989 <br /> at 7: 00 p.m. so that Mr, Reynolds could be present. There <br /> was no second. <br /> C <br /> There was no comment from the public. <br /> Mr. Hanson moved to accept the new description of the <br /> premises of Ocry Trading Post, Mrs. Jacobsen seconded the <br /> motion and Mr, Gottlieb was in favor. Mr. Carter was <br /> opposed. <br />
