IP <br /> a <br /> BOARD of SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, JULY 179 1989 <br /> PAGE FIVE <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 11 her. Hanson moved to approvethe warrant for the August 21 , <br /> 1989 Special Tonin Meeting. Mr. Carter seconded the motion, <br /> Mr. Gottlieb and Mrs. Jacobson were in favor. Mr. Lawrence <br /> was opposed. <br /> Mrs. Jacobson roved to aprpove the three Ballot questions <br /> for the August 2 , 1989 Special Election, Mr. Carter <br /> seconded the motion. Mr. Gottlieb and Mrs . Jacobson were <br /> in favor. Mr. Lawrence was opposed <br /> . The Board voted unanimously to accept the resignation o <br /> Earl Cash, Sr , from the position of Alternate Member of the <br /> Shellfish Commission and from the position of Deputy <br /> Shellfish Constable, <br /> . The Board voted unanimously to appoint David Terry to the <br /> School Building Needs Committee. <br /> The Board agreed to hold the letter of interest from Alec <br /> Watt in order to clarify his preference on serving on the <br /> Town Hall -Building Committee or the School Building Deeds <br /> Committee. <br /> 5, Mr. Carter requested that the Board defer action on a memo <br /> from the Personnel Board relative to the Personnel Expense <br /> Account so that he may speak to members of the Board. <br /> Mr . Gottlieb suggested that action be deferred on a memo <br /> from Maurice Cooper relative to Community Relations since <br /> the Chief is currently working on something for the Board's <br /> consideration. <br /> . Mr, Hanson moved to authorize the Department of Defense to <br /> install a test well on the baseball field on Foote 130, <br /> Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br />
