} <br /> ..x <br /> BO RD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY., JULY -24, 1989 <br /> PRESENT: selectmen Gottlieb, Carter, Jacobson, Lawrence, Hanson, <br /> Administrative Assistant Joyce Mason, Town Counsel Joseph <br /> Reardon <br /> GUESTS: Theresa Kempton, Chief Ridgeway., Kay Perry, Virginia <br /> Driscoll , John Driscoll Doug Boyd,, Ernie Virgilio, Bred <br /> Fish, Chief Frye <br /> MINUTES <br /> Mrs. Jacobson roved to accept the Regular and Executive session <br /> minutes of July 1 , 1989, Mr . Lawrence seconded the motion. Mr. <br /> Gottlieb and Mr. Carter were 1*n Favor. Mr. Hanson was not present <br /> for the vote. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 1 . A public hearing was held relative to the application of <br /> Therese Kempton to operate a taxi cab business in the Town <br /> of Meshee. <br /> Mrs, Jacobson moved to issue a permit to Kempton pton Cab, Inc, <br /> to operate e taxi cab business in the Town of Meshpee <br /> contingent upon bank approval and contingent upon Kempton <br /> Kb obtaining office space in the Town of Mhpee, Mr. <br /> Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> 2. Chief Ridgeway attended to request that the Board <br /> reconsider its vote to forego the installation of a deluge <br /> s r i nl ler system In the the new Waste Transfer Station, <br /> Mr. Hanson moved to rescind the previous Grote of the Board <br /> not to install the sprinkler system and authorize the <br /> installation of a deluge sprinkler system at the Waste <br /> Transfer Station using available funds not to exceed <br /> $10, 000. Mr. Garter seconded the motion. All were in <br /> favor. <br />
