r' <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 , 1989 <br /> PAGE FIVE <br /> INEW <br /> BUSINESS <br /> 4. The Board received a letter from Bill Jones requesting <br /> appointment t the Mashpee School Building Needs <br /> Committee. The Board directed Mrs . Mason to respond to <br /> . Jones indicating that the Committee is currently <br /> full . <br /> . The Board noted a letter from Evelyn L. Buschenfeldt <br /> indicating the interest of Evelyn Buschenfeldt, William <br /> Jones , Richard Shaughnessy and Janet Walsh to serve on <br /> the committee to investigate the deterioration of the <br /> ponds in Masa . <br /> 8 . Mr. Lawrence moved to grant the request for legal <br /> services submitted by the Board of Health questioning <br /> whether municipal buildings are 'Included 'n the <br /> landfill/transfer station contract . . Hanson <br /> seconded the motion. Mr. Gottlieb and Mrs. Jacobson. <br /> were in favor. M . Carter setepped down. <br /> . Mr. Lawrence moved to accept the bid of Traffic <br /> Markings, Inc . to provide line painting as recommended <br /> by the DPW. Mr. Carter seconded the motion. All were <br /> in favor. <br /> 8. Bob Sherman attended to make the Board aware of a <br /> letter from DEP relative to Revised Wetlands Protection <br /> Fees Regulations and Procedures . The letter states <br /> that the remainder of filing fees shall be rade payable <br /> to the city of town; provided, that said remainder <br /> shall be expended solely by the local conservation <br /> commission for the performance of its duties under this <br /> chapter and shall accompany the copy of the notice sent <br /> to the city of town. The change also provides that the <br /> filing fees collected through the Notice of Intent <br /> process be :ar gar d to conservation commissi n to <br /> carry out the duty.es associated with administering the <br /> Act. <br />
