Kevin Harrington has asked <br /> to set aside 25% from the yield of the crop this year. There are <br /> three more growing sea.sor until. the lease is up and the appropriation <br /> could purchase the system, It is recommended by the Board to hold <br /> this article for discussion, <br /> Article 28 : The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson t <br /> support article 2 . Selectman Carter seconded the motion, The vote <br /> of the Board is unanimous <br /> Article31: Article 31 and the other petition articles will <br /> be on hold until. Further budget discussions, <br /> It was suggested by Selectman Jacobson for the Board to save the <br /> warrant articles for discussion at the next scheduled meeting on <br /> March 18, 1991. It is hot necessary to make extra paperwork for <br /> the office with re-cop" ing. <br /> Wa.terwa s Commission Update: <br /> ��i19 I --i -■ i�i�9�1 il�Yr+lil� <br /> At the last scheduled meeting,.ng, the Board voted not to appoint <br /> anyone to the Commission, Kevin Harrington informed the Board that <br /> letters went out to interested applicants and only one letter of <br /> response was recieved by Mr. Grotzke. <br /> This will be placed on the agenda of larch 1 , 1991. <br /> New Revenues: <br /> Kevin Harrington has recievd inquiries of whether or not there <br /> will be overrides to supliment the budget of FY 92. If theme will <br /> be no additional resources, he has proposed to reduce expenses this <br /> fiscal year rather than wait until next. <br /> Selectman Carter has asked to place this on the agenda of the <br /> 18th of March. Selectman Danson does not want a two week delay o <br /> the actions to be rade by Mr. Harrington. He would like the Board to <br /> make the decision of an override or not <br /> Selectman Lawrence has no intention of voting for an override <br /> r a debt excl sion. Selectman Gottlieb has recommended that the <br /> Executive Secretary proceed with his plan and projected revenues and <br /> create a budget based on it' s means. Why create a budget scenario <br /> that assumes new revenue is coming in <br /> Selectman Jacobson feels the Board is obligated to let the <br /> people decide via Town Meeting, <br /> The motion was rade by Selectman Gottlieb to have Kevin Harrington <br /> outline a series of potential reductions for this fiscal year for <br /> the hoard to review with no override in FY 92. The motion was seconded <br /> by Selectman Lawrence. The vote is unanimous with the Board. <br /> Jinn vac.ca.ro is also opposed' to:+z-an override. We are not in the <br /> position this year and an override prolongs the agony. <br />
