k t BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page MINUTES UESDA , APRIL 169 1991 Approval of Step Increase for D i t Peters: Approval of-Step Increase for Patrolman Santangelo: rova.l of Step Increase for Firefighter Cra ig Messinger: i Selectman Hanson has recommended the Executive Secretary to make the decision of the approval - of the step increases, Mr. Harrington is in favor, but the three above increases involve contract language for three departments which require the Board of Selectmen to approve. Selectman Carter has suggested to look towards atemending the language of the contract and de si gnat ing an agent to approve the increases, 'own Counsel advises that in Mr. a.rrington' s job description it ,enc lu de s his response to the step inc re a. e s, Selectman Lawrence agrees on this issue) for Mr. Harrington deals with this on a day to day basis. Selectman Hanson also agrees and suggests Mr. Harrington send a letter to the unions to see if there is a. problem involved with this designation. The motion was rade by Selectman Hanson to approve the step ' increases for Dwight Peters$ Patrolman Santangelo and Craig Messinger. $e ectman Lawrence seconded the motion. The vote of the Board i unanimous. The vote is 3-0., Selectman Lawrence made mote of the terrific job Mr. Santangelo has done and the many calls he has recieved on his behalf. Approval of Warrants: It was briefly discussed by the Board and Mr. Harrington of the delegation of authority concerning the approval of the warrant articles. It was advised by Town Counsel the Board of Selectmen are required to vote to approve the delegation of the warrant articles. He will review the possibility of an original voucher* stamp to be used to obtain the signatures of the Board. 76.45 p.m. Ga.Ey Sylvester res. Permit to move a Buil j : The tentative date to move the building is MaY 7, 1991 as reported y fir. Sylvester of Falmouth, One house will be broken into four sections and be moved together from the Town of Sandwich to Falmouth. The highest portion is 21-1 and the widest is 241 . It is difficult to estimate the time traveling through Mashpee explains Mr. Sylvester, He will alert the local radio stations and newspapers when there is a concrete date to move the building. The motion was made by Selectman Hanson to grant permission for Gary Sylvester to move the structure from Sandwich through the Town of Mashpe e to Falmouth, The motion was seconded by Selectman Lawrence. The vote of the Board is unanimous 3-0.
