a ; i <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page <br /> ZITS <br /> TUESDAY v APRIL 16, 1991 <br /> Contaminated Shellfish l l <br /> Mr. Somerville was unable to attend the meeting with the Board <br /> to discuss the notice of intent. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to reschedule the meeting when <br /> Mr. Somerville is available to attend the meeting for discussion. <br /> Selectman Carter* has some questions concerning the closing of certain <br /> areas, <br /> Shellfish Commission re : vacana: <br /> The recommendation was made by Selectman Lawrence to follow the <br /> normal procedure of advertising for a regular and alternate member <br /> to represent the commercial shellfishing interests, <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to approve Selectman Laurence' <br /> recommendation to advertise. <br /> Donation of Sums ui men v. <br /> Mr. Harrington has asked the Board to consider the donation of <br /> approximately 20 desks to the Tribal Council for a day-care program <br /> they are planning, <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to approve the donation <br /> of the surplus desks to the Tribal Council. The motion was seconded <br /> by Selectman Hanson. The Mote of the - Board is unanimous. The Grote <br /> is 3-0$ <br /> Approval o own Museum Agreement <br /> Mr. Harrington made mate of the grant to be made available i <br /> FY 92. The hogs of operation of the museum eum are to be included in the <br /> agreement. The museum will be open Tuesday through Friday 99. 00 a.m. to <br /> 2: 00 p.Tn. and Saturdays from 10: 00 . a. to 2: 00 p.m. It will be closed <br /> on Sundays and Mondays, <br /> Selectman Carter has suggested the hours be seat to the Chamber of <br /> Commerce for inf'orma.tionalpurposes to the public . <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Hanson to execute the memorandum <br /> of agreement between the Town of Mashpee and Chief Gray Wolf Moran in <br /> effect until Jane 30, 1992. <br /> The motion was seconded by Selectman Lawrence. The vote of the <br /> Board is unanimous, The vote is 3-0s <br /> Communication from the First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, Inc <br /> Pastor John D. Green is requesting a waiver of the buildin er it <br /> in the amount of $200 in regards to remodeling of the basement to house <br /> the Mashpee HeadStart Program. <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Lawrence to deny the request. The <br /> motion was seconded by Selectman Hanson. The vote of the Board is <br /> unanimous, The Grote is 3-Ov <br /> Selectm <br /> an Carter made note the Board is trying to stay consistant <br /> with what has been done in the past, <br />
