No one has challenged the Facts of <br /> the numbers on the Finance Committee' s report, <br /> The Board was informed by Mr. Vaccaro that two members of the <br /> Finance Committee have volunteered to check the purchase orders From <br /> January 1, 1991 to the present date, Mrs. Greelish is authorized by <br /> the Finance Committee to obtain the lotus base on the computer to <br /> obtain a definitive conclusion. <br /> The Finance Committee has recommended to stay with the money <br /> indicated since the Superintenda.nt said he could live with that figure. <br /> Selectman Lawrence made the motion the Board support using the <br /> coney left over For the stabilization Fund other than the $8, 000 For <br /> the Council. on Aging Director. The $100, 000 could be placed into <br /> a. reserve fund with the intent of not to spend. Selectman Lawrence <br /> would like to place $250, 000 into the reserve account, <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to support the recommendation <br /> of the Finance Committee in agreement with the Executive Secretary. <br /> The motion was seconded by Selectman Jacobson. The vote is Favorable <br /> -1 with Selectman Lawrence in opposition. <br /> Kevin Harrington would like to Find money For the lifeguards, <br /> but it is not known to gate of where this would derive From, <br /> 9: o4 P.M. Special Town,._Meetinr, Warrant .Articles: <br /> Mr. Harrington reviewed the articles on the Special `'own Meeting <br /> Warrant with the Board. <br /> It was noted by Selectman Lawrence he is opposed to all the <br /> articles in the budget. <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Gottlieb to support the articles <br /> r in the Special Town Meeting warrant, All articles included From one <br /> to seventeen. <br /> The motion was seconded by Selectman. ian on, The vote of the <br /> Board is Favorable -1 with Selectman Lawrence in opposition.. <br /> Selectman Danson asked if the funds For the Senior Center were <br /> not used would it stay in the general Fund? The reply is yes. Selectman <br /> Jacobson Feels they will definitely be used with the gree year time <br /> frame. <br /> Annual Town Meeting .Warrant Articles <br /> Mr. Harrington reviewed the articles with the Board. The Following <br /> were held for discussion; Article 1� and 1 held by Selectman Gottlieb, <br /> Article 18 held by Selectman Carter and article 21 held by the Executive <br /> Secretary. <br /> It was noted the hoard will not take a stand on the petition <br /> articles, <br /> With concerns of article 11, Selectman Gottlieb is opposed to <br /> questions, <br /> Selectman Gottlieb requests to hold article 15 For the upgrade <br /> report From Jane Stockbridge, This should be available in three weeks, <br /> Mr. Vaccaro reported the Finance Committee is opposed. 1t is the consensus <br /> of the Board to oppose article 150 <br />
