You can' t expect too much from a. part-time Selectman states Mr. Manson, He has suggested to discuss policy once a month on specific night and time and not on the agenda discussions, This should be a, separate time to discuss major goals and policies of the Board. This could possibly entail one or two nights per month. The Board is in a. g ee ent with the suggestion made by Selectman Hanson. Selectman Jacobson has suggested every other Monday night for discussion of policy. The regular agenda would Follow on the other Mondays. Selectman Gottlieb questions how well the Board carries out its Functions? Some is structural with no control over elected bodies. There is no time set aside as to why an issue 'is a problem, All we do is address in an immediate sense of why. There is mo penalty for not going along with the wishes of the Board of Selectmen.
