BO ARD 0 F SELEC TMEN Page MINUTES i MON AY, AUGUST 269 1991 Request for Executive SessionMinutes: With concerns of the Keeter property, Attorney Reardon informs the Board it is still in Litigation. The scheduled conference date is September 23, 1991* The issue of litigation has nothing to do with the negotiations of the church states selectman Hanson, It shouldn' t jeapordize the standing in court, Attorney Reardon suggests the Board decline to make comment to the media at this time. Selectman Gottlieb suggested for Attorney Reardon to review the Executive Session minutes of question before the release, Selectman Hanson agrees with the suggestion- of selectman Gottlieb. He- asks the Board to- make the letterof April. 25, 1991 public. This will reflect the true numbers and not the misinformation as reported y the Messanger. Selectman Gottlieb is in Favor to release the -letter of April 25th. He asks Counsel_ if the. minutes of Executive Session, are released, is the tape to be made public? The tape would be made public informs Attorney Reardon. Selectman Lawrence made note the actual letter from s. W lford of the Enterprise doesn' t make much sense to the Board of Selectmen. The motion was made by Selectman, Gottlieb to release the letter of 4/25/91. from Field' s Point and the 5/3/91 letter from Town Counsel.. pertaining to that letter. Swith Cape Beach State Park AdvisoEy Committee: Selectman Jacobson informed the Board of the, change of the South Cape Beach State Park Advisory Committee' s meeting to accomodate the Board.
