I would also suggest at this time, Mr. Town Counsel states Selectman' Lawrence, that I don' t believe a vote was necessary because it was part of Old Business. That can be brought up. an t'•hi e. That is why we have Old Business. we have had many votes t . e under Old Business. I don' t believe - the vote was even necessary to that. I believe her view of what occ red happened under Old Business and could be brought up at any time un,,er Old Business. I think that the statement that Mr. Lawrence is making is that anything new that is new that appears before the Board, is that what your suggesting? The point of the thing is that it is Old Business states S-el:ectran Lawrence. It was brought up under Old Business and discussed under Old Business -ands. voted under Old Business. I don' t thinly that we should be spending any more time on this states the Chairman. Joe I am going to request of you a ruling on this whole fiasco and we will go from there with i t. M .First question ,was whe�ther or _not a. - ,o i-on and a vote like this can be reconsidered -at the next meeting asks Deidre Greelish, Absolutely states Selectman Lawrence, But, I would like that information states Selectman Jacobson, I would expect it and welcome it states Selectman Lawrence. The only problem -that might arise with the person who has been appointed, is sworn into the office by the Town Clerk states Counsel. There would then be a. problem of recinding an appointment. l ashpee is an emb �asment states Selectman Jacobson, OLD BUSINESS: Selectman Caffyn brought up the issue of the discussion of the Keeter property and SelectTian Lawrence not taking the time to discuss it. Mr. Reardon and the copies of the Ietters were available at the meeting. Selectman, Lawrence refused to discuss and indicated he did not want to discuss it because the information was new to him, We were ready, the information was in front of us, Town Counsel was here and we didn' t discuss it because you said no states Selectman afflyn. You said no because it was- an item that was just presented to you. Somehow all of us were at fault for not discussing this issue, Mr. Reardon commented that at that meeting, all five members of the Board had his letter for the First time.
