,w BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 7 MINUTES MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 1991 School Enrollment and Davis School Well: The Coombs School and Diddle school are at capacity reports Dr. Deura., The School Department is proposing to move the entire krnderga.rden classes to the Davis School next year and will consider moving a portion of the fourth grade from the Middle School to the Coombs School. There is no additional room. The movement to the Davis School will give us about two years states Dr. Del oura.. Selectman Oaffyn suggests for a workshop discussion to be held with the Board to obtain an indepth discussion on the additional space requirements and the use of the Davis School. NEW B S IX ES S-: Diddle School, for Recreational Activity: Selectman Caffyn read' her memo on the Increased Usage of School Facilities for Community Recreational Activities to the Board and residents of Mashpee present. The motion was rade -by Selectman Caffyn to discuss the use of school facilities for community recreation. The motion was seconded by Selectman Lawrence, The vote of the Board is unanimous. The vote is 4-00 Selectman Jacobson thanks Dr. Del oura and the School Committee for this has been a. long concern of the Town. It is the first step forward to make the facility available.
