Harrington to write a letter~, <br /> but hold until after the 7th. The cape Cod Commission must be <br /> viewing various options and scientific data. <br /> The Commission is well aware of this states Selectman' Jacobson. <br /> Mr. Benway had requested this to be persued and placed on. the Warrant, <br /> The motion was made by Selectman Ca. fyn to support stopping <br /> the outfall pipe and write letters t.o, those involved. The motion <br /> was seconded ,by Selectman Danson. The vote of the Board is unanimous. <br /> The vote is 3-o. <br /> 8 <br /> : .m. l ash ee Sandwich water Feasibility Study: <br /> Stephen Greelish was present to discuss the water feasibility <br /> study with - the Board. He first noted the Board of Health has sent <br /> a letter to DEP and the Governor requesting full treatment instead <br /> of the outfall tunnel. <br /> With regards to the feasibility study, Mr. Greelish would like <br /> to get this roving and signed for time is at the essence and we don' t <br /> want the option to go away. <br /> Ir* Harrington spoke with Town counsel today. counsel is currently <br /> reviewing the draft agreement and it is hopeful to get it signed this <br /> week, <br /> The deadline to deliver a comprehensive plan is December informs <br /> M . Greelish. With Mr. Greek h representing the Board of Health and <br /> with his tech ical expertise, he asks the Board to remain with the <br /> study along with one other~ member* which is required in the administrative <br /> proposal, <br /> Selectman Caff`yn a:'s s for clarification of the $20, 000 cost. -The <br /> contract work is for the Town of Mashpee and the Town of Sandwich of <br /> which the Town of sandwich will contribute their share of $10, 000 inf rr s <br /> Counsel. The contract is subject to approval of both town' .s involved, <br /> it is easier to contract with one municipality states Mr. Harrington, <br /> The Selectmen in both town' s will be involved. He has no problem with <br /> the representation of Mr. Greelish, <br /> 'If we are dissatisfied with the results questions Selectman Caffyn, <br /> do we come -up with the entire $20, 000? we have to take the lead states <br /> Mr. Greelish. Ude and the engineers will defend the work that will be <br /> done, He doesn' t see that there will be any problems. <br /> Mr. Greelish motes that item number six in the Proposal is slightly <br /> premature since the equity arrangement is not known. <br /> There are a. few problems with the contract states Counsel. He will <br /> be in Town Hall on Tuesday to address the problem areas. He will also <br /> - finish the review on the contract with Mr. Greek sh to reach an agreement <br /> to the language and move forward with the contract. <br /> i The motion was made by Selectman Hanson to appoint Stephen Greelish <br /> as the wastewater Feasibility study Contract Administrator. The motion <br /> was seconded by Selectman c of fyn. The vete is unanimous 3- . <br />
