He is currently working on administrative <br /> procedures and informs the Board. the files from this department are <br /> now in Town Hall . <br /> Selectman Jacobson stressed the need to get the bills out. She <br /> would like to receive a copy of the current mooring list and suggests <br /> to abide by the Harbormasters plan. Sho has recommended that n <br /> new mooring perm' its. be i s sued at this time. <br /> It is important the navigational aids are in on time indicates <br /> Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> Selectman Caffyn suggests the Executive Secretary handle the <br /> administrative duties of the interim Harborma ter period. <br /> Selectman Jacobson would like to obtain a list of the Assistant <br /> Harbormasters for the Thursday morning meeting of the Board.as well <br /> as the current mooring list. <br /> **Them motion was made by Selectman Caffyn to have a temporary <br /> moratorium on the issuing. of mooring permits , The,,,..-motion was seconded <br /> by Selectman Mills . The vote of the Board is unanimous . The vote <br /> is 4-0 . <br /> Mr. Baler suggests to charge more for commercial and non-resident <br /> moorings . He mentions that Half Tide Marina has ten mooring permits <br /> that are rented for more money than the 'Town, charges . <br /> Is this legal asks Selectman Jacobson? "Town counsel advises it is . <br /> Selectman Mills suggests to establish a commercial rate. A second <br /> possibility is taking the moorings and issuing thea to private individ- <br /> uals. 'Town Counsel advises we may be sued if that -is done. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro suggests the Beard establish a fee schedule <br /> on Thursday since bills are to be sent out in February. <br /> The Conservation Commission has also requested a list of the <br /> mooring holders . <br /> Permit Fees for 'Town Pro r ects . <br /> A request was made from Pat White to waive fees on various <br /> Torn--owned projects . It was noted by Mrs , Mason that bids were open- <br /> ed on Wednesday for the Senior Center addition, The direction was to <br /> include the fee . <br /> Town Counsel indicated this could be waived, but it may cause a <br /> problem since the bid is based on the cost of the construction. <br /> Mr. Taylor is also in favor. He nos that this would assist in <br /> general since more than one permit is involved. <br /> **The motion was made by Selectman Mills to formulate a policy to <br /> waive fees on Town owned buildings for Town cont- acted work on Town <br /> facilities . The license fees are to be waived. The motion was second- <br /> ed by Selectman Caffyn. The vote of the Board is unanimous . The <br /> vote is - . <br />
