Pursuant to that section, we wish to inform you <br /> that the Department of Fisheries, Wildlife & Environmental Law Enforcement, or one of it's Divisions, <br /> is considering acquisition of land within Mashpee. The land is now in private ownership and is currently <br /> being used for the purpose of open land. The property would be acquired for conservation and recreation <br /> purposes. If you have any questions about this proposed acquisition, please contact me at the Department <br /> of Fisheries, Wildlife & Environmental Law Enforcement at (617) 727-1614 in Boston. <br /> Section 40I also requires that the proposal be made public in a local forum.
