BOARD OF SELECTMEN MINUTES MONDAY, MAY 11 , 1992 Present : Selectman Caffyn, Selectman Vaccaro, Selectman Mills , Selectman Jacobson, Selectman Costa Administrative Assistant Joyce Mason Town Counsel Joseph J. Reardon Guests : Greg Taylor, Deidre Greelish, George Baker, Ed Baker, Elizabeth Petti , Rita Sousa, Jane Stockbridge, Paul Ott , William Zammer, Chief Ridgeway, Carole Dunivan Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Jacobson at 7 : 00 p.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: March 30, 1992 : April 21 , 1992 : April 27, 1992 : April 30 , 1992 Executive Sessions Minutes will be held for discussion in Executive Session as recommended by the Chairman of the Board . April 27, 1992 : Search Committee Meeting: ***The motion was made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the Search Committee Meeting minutes of April 27, 1992 . The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0 . April 27 , 1992 : Selectman Mills asked that the minutes be amended to reflect on page two second paragraph from the bottom; second sentence to delete the word "a" and capitalize the words Rock Landing. Page six second to the last paragraph from the bottom; the motion was seconded by Selectman Caffyn and not Mills . Selectman Vaccaro asked that the minutes be amended to reflect on page six to include in the first paragraph as the last sentence to read : Three Board of Selectmen Members appeared to the finalist interview by chance . ****The motion was made by Selectman Mills to approve the minutes of April 27 , 1992 Regular Session as amended . The motion was seconded by Selectman Caffyn . VOTE: Unanimous . 4-0 . **Selectman Costa has abstained from voting on the approval of the past minutes . April 30, 1992 : Selectman Caffyn asked that the minutes be held until further clarification on page two under Popponesset Spit. She recommends to review the tape to incorporate additional discussions to be included in the minutes . 49
