BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 3 MINUTES MONDAY, MAY 11 , 1992 Reorganization of the Board : **Selectman Mills made the motion to nominate Selectman Caffyn as Chairman of the Board of Selectmen. Selectman Costa seconded the motion. *Being no further nominations; Selectman Jacobson closed the nominations. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0 . Selectman Caffyn abstained from voting. ***The motion was made by Selectman Mills to nominate Selectman Vaccaro as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Selectmen. The nomination was seconded by Selectman Caffyn. **Being no further nominations, Selectman Jacobson closed the nominations . VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0 . Selectman Vaccaro abstained from voting. ***The motion was made by Selectman Caffyn to nominate Selectman Mills as Clerk of the Board of Selectmen. The nomination was seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. **Being no further nominations, Selectman Jacobson closed the nominations. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0 . Selectman Mills abstained from voting. Selectman Caffyn : Chairman Selectman Vaccaro: Vice-Chairman Selectman Mills : Clerk On behalf of the Board of Selectmen and citizens of Mashpee, Selectman Caffyn presented Selectman Jacobson with a gift of appreciation for the job she has done with patience, fairness and fortitude . It is very much appreciated . 7: 40 p.m. A five minute recess was called due to the number of residents present . The Meeting will move into the Great Room. 7 :45 p.m. Meeting re-convened in the Great Room. Willowbend Development Corp. - Liquor License Hearing: Edward Sweeney and David Southworth were present to discuss the application of Willowbend Development Corporation for an entertainment and liquor license for the Country Club/Restaurant. All necessary information and payment has been made for the application. Selectman Caffyn read the Legal Notice relative to the Public Hearing pursuant to Chapter 138 . (enclosed ) It is the agreement of the Board to consult the Planning Board with reference to the intent of the zoning bylaw. Mr. Sweeney indicates the corporation is a profit entity for members and guests to participate. The general public will have access to the club. It is not the intent of Willowbend to market to the general public notes Mr. Sweeney. Three houses on the property are currently occupied . The intent is to develop 250 lots relates Mr. Southworth who it the general manager of Willowbend. Ten condominiums will also be placed on the market .
