4 i <br /> k <br /> BOARD of SELECTMEN Page <br /> MINUTES <br /> MONDAY, MAY 18r 1992 <br /> 9 : 10 P,rn, Meeting re-convened , <br /> COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Selectman Caffyn indicated that the DPT and School <br /> Department worked very hard on Saturday with efforts to clean the <br /> Town Hall . She expressed thanks for those involved . <br /> With regards to the Computer System, it was noted that Tom <br /> Pucci will offer his services . Steve Greelish has also <br /> volunteered to help during the interim period .. <br /> Update on the School BuildingCommittee : The RFP ' s will be <br /> reviewed by the School Building Committee on Tuesday, May 19 , <br /> 1992 informs Selectman Mills . <br /> Town Counsel indicates that the envelope containing the lump <br /> sun fixed price will be opened during negotiation session with <br /> the finalist chosen to he awarded the job b the School Building <br /> Committee and Board of Selectmen* The Selectmen will have the <br /> final say since they are the contract agent for the Town. <br /> Attorney Reardon will be present at the meeting of May 191 <br /> 1992 with the School Building Committee. <br /> Liaison Assignments : Selectman Caffyn suggests the Board <br /> contact the department that they are liaison with. An update <br /> will be given on Monday ' s agenda to address any problems or <br /> concerns with the departments . <br /> The Finance Committee may he able to work with the Selectmen <br /> suggests Selectman Caffyn, <br /> With concerns towards the fifteen classroom addition, <br /> Selectman Mills relates the conversion study of high ch.00l <br /> feasibility wi.11 parallel the addition . <br /> OLD BUSINESS : <br /> Employment Agreement for Execution <br /> *The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson for the Board of <br /> Selectmen to act as the Chief dmi-nistrators of the Town. In the <br /> absence of the Executive Secretary, Joyce Mason ' s workload -will <br /> be increased forcing her to work more that 40 hours a week for a <br /> sustained period of time. The Board ofF Selectmen agree to <br /> compensate Mfrs. Mason at the rate of $20 , 82 per hour for those <br /> hours worked in excess of 40 hours, which represents time and one- <br /> half her regular hourly rate . The motion was seconded by <br /> Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous . 5-0. <br />
