i <br /> i <br /> F <br /> BOARD of SELECTMEN Page <br /> MINUTE <br /> THUR D. , JUNE 11 1992 <br /> Harbormaster Issues <br /> The Board is in agreement that George Hinckley presents a <br /> conflict of interest as an Assistant Harbormaster since he <br /> operates a boat towing business in the waters of Mashpee. <br /> In addition to the list submitted by the Harbormaster <br /> regarding the Assistant Harbormaster appointments , Richard Ranco <br /> of 1 Magnolia Lane has requested to be re- <br /> appointed.-Selectman Mills notes her concern to the 'large boats and the <br /> size of their engines . She suggests to monitor the gas closely. <br /> ***The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to approve the <br /> list of Assistant Harbormaster ' s to be reappointed with the <br /> addition of Richard Tando and the deletion of George Hinc ely <br /> effective July 1 , 1992 . The motion was seconded by Selectman <br /> Mills , VOTE; Unanimous. -o . <br /> The Board is thankful for the volunteers in water safety , <br /> Moratorium: Twenty-five names are on the waiting list for <br /> moorings relates Mr. Madden, An inventory will be submitted by <br /> the end of the Month with reference to the existing moor Ings. <br /> Mr. Madden has reviewed the procedure with the Board <br /> regarding the verification of tax payments . A current list was <br /> given to Mr. Madden for review. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro suggests that Mr, Madden be able to <br /> utilize his judgement regarding the issue of new moorings . <br /> Selectman Cafe n agrees for Mr. Madden to use his own discretion. <br /> The reason for the moratorium is for the Harbor Management <br /> Plan informs Selectman Mills, She recommends for Mr. Madden to <br /> 9 <br /> meet with Tom Fud5ala to receive the plan4p <br /> Mr. Madden is in agreement to meet with the Board on <br /> Thursday, June 1 , 1992 to give an overview of the current <br /> mooring situation* <br /> : 20 p.m. Americans with Disabilities Act : <br /> Dr. DeMoura was present to give an overview of the Americans <br /> with Disabilities Act or ADA.
