Selectman Jacobson indicates that there were excellent candidates for the position of Executive Secretary to Mahee . She concurs with the recommendation of Selectman Vaccaro and adds that she is seeking further information on the candidates . Selectman Mills also concurs with the recommendation of Selectman Vaccaro. Selectman costa indicates that the four finalist were excellent . He also concurs with the recommendation made by Selectman Vaccaro. Robert Whritenour as finalist number one and Philip Dern o i s as finalist numhe r two . Selectman caffyn is also in agreement. She made reference to the intensive research done by Marilyn Farren. The candidates were well educated and experienced . Selectman caffyn is pleased that the Board is in agreement on the selection of the finalist . Selectman costa cave thanks on behalf of the Board for the excellent job performed by Rita Sousa and Jane Stockbridge to present the candidates , They were extremely helpful throughout the process . Rita Sousa indicated that they both thoroughly enjoyed working this project with the Board of Selectmen, Working with the Selectmen with such a diversity of opinion and the 100 applications received they were impressed by what the Selectmen took into consideration. The Selectmen were very yrofessional during the process of approval . Ms . Sousa indicates that she was honored to have been included in the search process and is proud of Mashpee ' s Selectmen . Selectman Caffynr Selectman costa and Selectman Jacobson will make the visitation in the immediate future at a time deemed appropriate. Town counsel with the aid of Assistant Town counsel will review the existing Town contracts . A workshop will be scheduled on Monday evening before the Regular Meeting of the Board to discuss the contract . COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE : Doug Boyd re : Picnic Dox: The Building Inspector ' s letter of June 15t 1992 indicates that conversation with the State Ethics commission relates that there is no conflict of interest with regards to the Picnic Box.
