MINUTES THURSDAY, JUNE 25t 1992 Request from Richard York: The Shellfish Warden was present to recommend against the redistribution of funds from the Shellfish Department . This is a full time position indicates Mr . York that is year round. There is work to do with scallops , seed shellfish and dock permits that require full time hours. Selectman Jacobson notes that a second Waterways Assistant is - in need. She had indication that the money was to derive from a decrease in step differential from the h llfi . budget , Mr. Madden relates that he is supportive of Mr. York, They work together as a team. The cost to fund an additional Waterways Assistant i $3 ,782 . Mrs. Greelish indicates that she will review the budget . She made note of the merger -between the two departments in October. Selectman caffyn indicated that the Board will take this under advisement at this time. s 4: 20 p,m, Charles Talanian re : Donna ' s Lame : Mr. T-alanian requested support from the Selectmen to resolve the issue relative to Donna ' s Lane. He indicates that there has been no response to date from Town counsel . Selectman Caffyn relates that a letter was received at 2 .m, today from Field ' s Point, This was the reason for the delay. Town counsel has requested input from the two abutters. She will inquire from Town counsel as to the status$ Selectman Mills recommends to meet with the involved parties and deal with this issue only. Selectman caffyn indicates that she will first discuss the status with Mr. Taylor and Mr. -Fudala. It was also recommended to discuss Donna ' s Lane with Field ' s Point within the 'net two weeks. Selectman -Jacobson notes that Mr . Talanian has been more thaN cooperative. The Board will contact him within the next few weeks . for continued discussion relative to Donna ' s Lane, 5 f
