Driscoll was present to <br /> discuss. the Summer Program Informat i.on Flyer of Leisure S 'rvices. <br /> The cost for printing was approximately $740 . The Mailing <br /> cost was estimated to b oo informs Mr. Driscoll, He will <br /> return with an estimate of the level o-f participation for these <br /> services as requested by the Board . <br /> Mr, Driscoll relates that children fifteen years of age and <br /> .older were polled regarding their particular interests and <br /> program activities . Many are working and participating in other <br /> non-related Leisure Service activities informs Mr. Driscoll . <br /> The Board is in- agreement that the color and presentation of <br /> the Leisure Service activities flyer loops great .. Selectman <br /> Vaccaro motes that the first few days of beach sticker sales <br /> brought increased revenue to the Town that should easily . <br /> accommodate the cost to print and rail the flyers related to <br /> summer activities to area residents. <br /> Mr. Driscoll indicated that the bulk rate mailing went to <br /> o residents . The flyer is also distributed in high access <br /> areas such 'as the schools, library and senior center. <br /> Dennis J. Flynn SFC re : Use of Waked Pond <br /> Operation Sergeant Dennis Flynn was present to request the <br /> use of the Mas pee/Wakeby Pond, boat ramp facilities on July 18 , <br /> 1992 and August 19 and 20, 1992 , <br /> The request i_5 for -a training project relative to a drug fee <br /> environment relates Sgt , Flynn. The project is entitled "Project <br /> Quest" which stands for Quality Unique Experience Support Team. <br /> This project will promote self esteem in youths throughout <br /> the Commonwealth informs Sgt, Flynn. one hundred and eight <br /> students will participate from grades nine through eleven. out <br /> of 20 applicants , three Mapee students will attend the <br /> program. <br />
