• <br /> t <br /> � • r <br /> i <br /> X <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 2 <br /> MINUTES <br /> THURSDAY, JUDY 2e 1992 <br /> Use of Mashpee/Wa eby Pond <br /> The small boat operations on the pond will consist of three <br /> groups of 36 students informs Sgt . Flyhn. Seven to eight adults <br /> will accompany the students with the assistance of several State <br /> Police. <br /> *The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to approve of <br /> Project Quest , The motion was seconded by Selectman Costa . <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0 . <br /> *Sgt. Flynn will meet with Selectman Mills .to discuss the <br /> specific details of the program and conduct a site visit to <br /> determine the most suitable location for the small boat <br /> operations . <br /> Selectman costa offered the Town Hal-- as a suitable site to <br /> parr excess vehicles . Selectman Jacobson recommended for the <br /> Harbormaster to be present on July 18 , 1992 and August 20 , 1992 . <br /> Sgt. Flynn asked if the Board would consider the possibility <br /> of including an .ambulance with a life support system and two <br /> EMT' s to aid in. Proj ect Quest . <br /> The Board is in agreement to contact chief Ridgeway with <br /> regards to this consideration. There are no objections of the <br /> Board . <br /> William Hauck re: Various Issues : <br /> Mr. Hauck indicates that as Building Inspector he will <br /> maintain enforcement of the- building code and compliance. He i <br /> presently working as a part-time dispatcher until the adjustment <br /> can be made to his schedule.. <br /> Selectman caffyn indicated that Assistant Town counsel has <br /> advised there is no problem holding two positions if Mr. Hauck <br /> remains on an hourly basis . She recommends for Mr. Hauck to <br /> maintain a log of his dispatch time for compensation. <br /> i <br /> Indication was made from chief Frye that Mr. Hauck request a <br /> j <br /> leave of absence in the event he is not the full time Building <br /> Inspector. <br /> Mr. Hauck reviewed 'the operation of the Building Department <br /> with the Selectmen. <br /> Mileage : It was noted that at this time there is no <br /> additional money in the expense budget to corer mileage. Review <br /> will be made of the Town vehicle used by the Assessor ' s office <br />
