y i ,y BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page MINUTES MONDAY, JULY 13r1992 Auditing Services Agreement for Approval and x ution: It was noted that Assistant Town counsel has reviewed and approved the agreement for auditing services for the fiscal ye ars ending June 30 , 1992 , 1993 and 1994 between the Town and the firm of Mel n on, Greenwood and Company . *The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to award and execute the contract for auditing services to Melanson, Greenwood and Company. The Chairman of the Board of Selectmen is authorized to sign the letter of understanding dated Juno 5 , 1992 between the Town and Melanson, Greenwood and company. The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills . MOTE: Unanimous. 5-0 . Commonwealth Electric re : Priority Areas The Board is in agreement to accept the recommendations made y Selectman Jacobson regarding Priority Areas for Commonwealth Electric to adhere to. Selectman Jacobson will send a letter to designate areas of priority. Desks : It was noted that the new desks for the Selectmen ' s Conference Room will be installed on Friday, July 1'7 ■ 1992 . Selectman Caffyn has advised the Board Members to clean out their old desks before Friday. Appointment of Counsel for Special Litigation: It was noted that Attorney Reardon will complete outstanding litigation, Attorney Morse will remain as Assistant Town Counsel until August . i ***The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to designate Attorney Gilman as Special Town Counsel to represent the Town in litigation being presented to the courts by Douai Boyd and Robert Cornell. dated June 1 , 1992 . The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills . NOTE; Favorable, -1 . Selectman Vaccaro is in opposition. NEW BUSINESS: Acceptance of FY93 F93Trash Bid ***The motion was made by Selectman dills to approve of the F93FY93 Trash Bid to be awarded to Browing Ferris Industries , Inc . The motion was seconded by Selectman Jacobson. VOTE Unanimous , 5-0 . i - _
