' f y e 4 y ' I �'1 Y_ BOARD of SELECTMEN�/ Tlugs MINUTES M NDA , JULY 131 1992 Civil Defense Director ' s Position: Selectman Vaccaro recommends to obtain a job description and statement of duties related to the position of Civil Defense Director, He suggests to -coordinate with public safety leaders , the DPW and Harbormaster. i The Board is in agreement to defer the appointment of civil Defense Director at this time . A meeting will be scheduled with public safety officials and department heads for further discussion and clarification of the position. Sealer, of Weights and Measures Agreement for -Approval and Execution: It was noted that Mr. crosen has been Mashp-ee ' s Sealer of Weights and Measures for three years, The compensation for his service is less this year since the service is shared with Falmouth. Item number two of the Personal Service Agreement has been changed . The sum of compensation is $1000 for each fiscal. year. **The motion was rade by Selectman Costa to renew the contract ._ with Janes crossen of Falmouth as "Sealer" with the approval of the changes made in - item number two of the Personal Services Agreement , The Motion was seconded by Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous . 5-0 . Tour of cranberry-Bs Members of the conservation commission and Ices Greig will tour the cranberry boas of Mashee on Friday, July 1p 1992 at 2 :00 .ren. Members of the Board of Selectmen are invited to participate in the tour. Selectman Mills rade note that she will attend the tour -of the cranberry bogs. Adjournment: * *The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to adjourn the Regular Meeting at 8 : 29 p,m, The Board will eater into Executive Session at this time to discuss Litigation and to correct the Minutes .
