Coag term,- . <br /> placement of schools and options for a high school are included <br /> in this review. <br /> Selectman Caffyn has- recommended to form a seven member <br /> committee consisting of Tori Fuda1a , Robert Whrit hour, <br /> Dr. D Moura, Selectman Caffyn, David. con.salvi , Charles Liberty <br /> and Nick Feldman, she notes that to date, four individuals have <br /> agreed to serve on the committee. <br /> The school needs are obvious explains selectman Caffyn, <br /> This committee should begin immediately . she recommends for <br /> interested citizens to participate. <br /> Selectman Mills indicates her concern to remain specific as <br /> to what is asked of this committee to be accomplished . selectman <br /> Costa relates that this is a good idea to form an additional <br /> committee for further input to the educational needs. <br /> *The motion was made by cele tman Costa to approve of the <br /> formation of an Educational. Facilities Needs Committee. The <br /> motion was seconded by selectman Jacobson. VOTE: unanimous. <br /> - . <br /> Mr. Polsi indicated that the Fiscal Policy Advisory Report <br /> should be completed in early September. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro recommends to be careful to not review the <br /> school needs in a vacuum, but to review all of the Town ' s <br /> facility needs. He recommends for this committee to work closely <br /> with the Capital Development Committee so the sane direction is <br /> obtained. <br /> Peter Dini io made note that the study preformed by <br /> stre alov sy Hoit , Inc. was based upon the Town Planners <br /> numbers. He indicates that the schoolCommittee ' s projected <br /> numbers were similar to those of Mr. Fudala ' so He is hopeful <br /> that this new committee will review qualitative issues an not the <br /> exercise of numbers. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro relates that the numbers will become <br /> secondary. The concept of regionalization has to be addressed . <br /> He indicates that it is important to review the site selection <br /> and possible use of Town owned land. <br />
