r �• <br />BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br />MINUTES <br />MONMr, D A , FEBRUARY 11 1 J <br />Present: Selectman Caffyn, Selectman Mills, Selectman Jacobson <br />Executive Secretary Robert Whritenour <br />Absent: Selectman vaooaro, Selectman Costa <br />Guests: Deidre Greelish, Denise Sullivan, Paul Ott, <br />Deputy Baker, Chief Ridgeway, Chief Frye <br />Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Caffyn at ,mo <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Monday, January 11, 1993 Regular and Executive Amendment <br />Thursday, January 14, 1993 Regular Session <br />Tuesday, January 19, 1993 Regular and Executive Sessions <br />Monday, January 2, 193 Reular,Session <br />**It is the agreement of the Board to defer the acceptance of <br />the above minutes at this time. <br />PUBLIC DISCUSSION: <br />None at this time. <br />COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br />MA Releaf Grant: A letter was drafted by the Executive <br />Secretary on behalf of the Board of Selectmen in support of the <br />Mahee Department of Public Works application to obtain funding <br />for shade trees to be planted -at Heritage Park. *The Board is in <br />agreement to submit the letter as written by the Executive <br />Secretary. <br />Police Department re: Hepatitis Booster Shots: <br />Correspondence was received from the Police Department with <br />regards to the hepatitis vaccination for Police officers. The <br />total amount is not to exceed $1320 informed Mr. Whritenour. The <br />funding is currently available through the Insurance Account. <br />Mr. Whritenour will see if the above is covered by the To n' <br />Health Insurance program* <br />Dredging re: Poonesset Spit: Mr. Harrington of Save the <br />Bay has received a letter of support with regards to dredging in <br />the area of Poonesset Spit from the New Seabury Corporation <br />informed Mr. Whritenour, He is scheduled to meet again with the <br />New Seabury Corporation in request to provide indemnification to <br />the Town. It was noted that the application deadline is <br />February 15, 19930 <br />
