BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 7 MINUTES 40 TU SB Y , FEB U i Y 16, 1993 BUDGET WORKSHOP: Health Salary/Elected: Level funded at $900.00 Health Salary/Wage: o: The amount of $94,746 includes the required longevity and step increases. Council on Aging Salary/Wage: Mr. Whri enour recommended to increase the Director's hours from 30 hours per week to 40 hours per week. As per the personal preference of the Outreach Coordinator, the hours have been reduced to 24 hours per week with benefits. Although there may be a need to increase the hours of the Director, the Selectmen are concerned with the advertisement for the position at 30 hours per week. With regards to the Outreach Coordinator, it appeared that additional hours were necessary for last year. This year, the hours are -reduced for the convenience of the Outreach Coordinator to include the employee benefits. *The Board is in agreement to consult Selectman Jacobson and others related to the Senior Center for further review. The above recommendation will be placed on hold at this times Human Service: 0 : The sum of $34,405 is proposed to fund the position of Tfuman Service Director, The Board questions if additional clerical support is necessary to accompany this position. *This item will be placed on hold at this time for farther review* Public Assistance: *The motion was made by Selectman Costa to add $10,000 to the Public Assistance Account to total; $15,000.
