BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page MINUTES T U SDA r MARCH 1, 1993 Review Town Meeting Warrants Special Town Meeting Warrant: r. Whritenour indicated that the language is Currently being reviewed as it relates to Creating and appointing a School Buildin'g Committee for the jr/sr high school facility. The Ballot question is also under review as it pertains t0 the preliminary- work that is to be subject to a debt exclusion. The Special Tawas Meeting Warrant as proposed and discussed was deemed a-cceptable by the Board. Annual Town Meeting Warrant; 3/12/93 r. Whritenour related concerns to a potential shortage in Teal/Engineering/Consulting and Town lull Expenses. Review was made of the Annual Town Meeting Warrant, Several' .articles presented were annual articles. The zoning articles that appear on the warrant were approved in October, but were not accepted by the Attorney General as a result Of a technical problem related to the advertisement procedure of the articles. Mr. Whritenour inserted the sure of $378,630 to be placed in the annual regional school district budget for the Cape Cod Regional Technical High School District for the fiscal year beginning /1./93. Anne Shaw will be. requested to discuss the proposed articles allowing the Town to set Certain fees and Charges and creating the permanent part -tine position of Clerk in the office of the Treasurer/Tax Collector. The Board of Assessors will ' be- requested to discuss the proposed article relative to expenses associated with the revaluation of property. The.FinanCe Committee will be requested the discuss the proposed articles relative to the placement of road betterments into the stabilization Fund, the placement of funds into the Capital Replacement. Account, establishing a Betterment Reserve Fund and the Home Jule Petition relative to establishing a Major Capital Fund.
