BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAY1 APRIL 1, 1 -- - -� <br />Present: Selectman Caffn, Selectman Mills, Selectman Costa <br />Executive Secretary Robert Whritenour <br />Absent: Selectman Vaccaro, Selectman Jacobson <br />Guests: Greg Taylor, Robert Sherman, Paul Otte John Ferguson <br />Meeting Called to Order by Chairman C ffn at p . m 4p <br />APPROVALOF-MINUTES: Thursday, April 1, 1 : <br />It is,the agreement of the Board to defer the acceptance o <br />the above minutes at this time. <br />PUBLIC DISCUSSION: <br />None at this time. <br />COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br />U.S, Fish and Wildlife Service: <br />The completed packet of land proposed for wildlife refuge <br />will be available for press release on Tuesday informed Selectman <br />Costa.' Approximately 1-200 acres of undeveloped land parcels <br />have been designated by the Town Planner. <br />Selectman Costa indicated that the Falmouth Planning <br />Department - it l be requested to submit a letter of support to the <br />U.S, Fish and Wildlife Service. Approximately 200 acres of <br />Falmouth ' l and abuts proposed sites in Mshpee noted Selectman <br />Costa. <br />A copy of the proposal will be in the Selectmen's Office <br />for public review informed Selectman Costa. Copies have also <br />been submitted to various environmental agencies for review, <br />Selectman Costae -indicated that Torn Fu'd la. did an outstanding job <br />on the informational packet.. <br />Public Access Board/Waterways Commission: <br />Selectman Mills indicated that she met with the Public <br />Access Board and Waterways Commission with regards to <br />recommendations concerning bass tournaments at Mashpee Taleb <br />Pond,. <br />The 6 mph boat speed restriction prior to a ,m, is under <br />consideration on weekends from Memorial Darr to Labor Bay <br />informed Selectman Mills. <br />
