Tournaments <br />exceeding 25 vehicles Will have t0 provide for an EPO noted <br />Selectman Mills. <br />The State is also willing' to provide two portable sanitation <br />facilities informed Selectman Mills. They will respond i <br />writing to the recommendations of the Waterways Commission noted <br />Selectman Mills. <br />Elias McQuaid - TEAC Status Re ort: <br />This item will be deferred until the next scheduled <br />Selectmen's Meeting. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Memo from the DPW Director re: Scoonsett Island: <br />Mr . ' Taylor presented several resolutions to the concerns <br />Of Seconsett Island Association residents as addressed by <br />Middleton O'Malley -Keyes on February 20, 199 . <br />With reference to the poor condition Of the guard rails that <br />line the Waquoit Bay side of thO causeway leading t0 Seconsett <br />Island, Mr. Taylor has recommended to reset the -existing cable. <br />The cost to reset several hundred feet of cable i $9820 <br />Mr. Whritenour concurs with Mr. Taylor's recommendations <br />***The motion was made by Selectman Costa to approve <br />recommendation of the DPW Director to reset the existing cable on <br />the Waquoit Bay side of the causeway leading to Seoonsett Island <br />for the surn of $982. The motion was seconded by Selectman <br />Mills. VOTE: Unanimous. -O . <br />Mr. Taylor indicated that e- is currently working on a <br />repair schedule with the Conservation Agent to remedy the seawall <br />and edge of the road that has eroded. <br />Mr. Taylor has recommended to place "No Parting Town Zone" <br />signs on the ocean side where parking is not allowed to provide <br />more enforcement capabilities for the Police, Mr . Whr i tenour <br />concurs with this recommendation. <br />
