A <br />Mashpeo 10 Year Financial Projection , ummar . <br />d Baker and Al Polsi-were present to discuss Mashpee's to <br />Year Financial Projection with the Board. Mr. Baker indicated <br />that most of the -existing data contained in the report was taken <br />from the Fiscal Policy Report. It has been modified with known <br />facts after the report was written noted Mr. Baker. <br />Mr. Baker discussed the Town's debt, revenues, <br />school/government budgets and tax summary as presented in the <br />financial projection summary. <br />Selectman vaccaro indicated that the document is well <br />written, The Board is in a- reemen . It quantifies the impact of <br />Mashpee's tax rate. -"Our destiny -is in our hands" noted <br />Selectman vaccaro as he quoted from the Fiscal Policy Report, We <br />need to improve our revenue sources indicated Selectman vaccaro <br />or our tax rate will continue to climb. <br />Town Hall Options Report: <br />Mr. Polsi presented a report on the preview of Town lull <br />options. He recommended to allow the residents are opportunity to <br />vote on the option to renovate the current Town Hall building, <br />purchase Pine Tree Place or construct a new Town lull facility. <br />Mr. Polsi reviewed the options with the Board. He noted <br />that the Board of Selectmen requested the review as a result of <br />the recent Mahpee Taxpayers Association survey. A Town Hall <br />facility was a top priority of the recent survey informed <br />Mr. Polsi, <br />Pine Tree Place submitted a potential purchase price of <br />$993,000 indicated Mr. Polsi. Selectman costa noted that the sum <br />of $893,000 is a more realistic offer for a turn key operation. <br />A renovation firm was consulted with regards to <br />rehabilitating the Ravi-s School fac i l i-ty informed Mr, Polsi, it <br />is estimated to cost $1,5 million'dollays,to renovate the current <br />building for Twh Mall office space. <br />mr. Polsi indicated that the School Department could also <br />renovate the Davis School building for administrative <br />offices, pre-school and kindergarten use. <br />The renovation firm of Graado velleco will prepare a design <br />layout for a new Town Mall facility on the site near the Fire <br />Station for the sure of $15,000 informed Mr. Polsi. <br />I* <br />
