BOARD OF SELECTMEN Fame <br />MINUTES <br />oNDA , API IL 2 r l <br />Town Hall Options Report: <br />The third option as presented by Mr, Polsi is the <br />resubmission of the original architectural design in a scaled <br />down fora. To review all drawings and specifications as <br />previously pr,epared with a reduction of project scope i <br />estimated to cost $15,000 as projected by Keenan and Kenney <br />Architects, LTD. <br />Selectman afyn indicated that the report of Town Hall <br />options is well presented, We need to rake the voter's aware of <br />the tax impact as provided in Mr. Baker's financial projection <br />summary related Selectman Caffyno <br />To propose the option for a new Town Hall and/or renovation <br />is too -much to present to the voter's at this time indicated <br />Selectman Caffyn when there is a need for a high school facility. <br />Selectman Caffyn related concerns to the poor condition of <br />the current Town Hall facility. She indicated that she would <br />like to improve the living conditions of the buildings for <br />em loyeels, but a clear picture of the impact must be presented <br />to the voters. This includes the high school and operating <br />budget noted Selectman Caffyn. <br />r. Penway, speaking for Morris Kirsner who has land <br />abutting Fine Tree Corners indicated that if the Town is <br />seriously interested in purchasing Pine Tree Corners, Mr. Kirsner <br />will be more than cooperative for the Town of Mashpee . <br />,Anne Shaw indicated that the electrical system contained in <br />the -current Town Hall bui-lding is in need of repair and the <br />computer system often fails as a result. She recommended to give <br />the -voters an opportunity to make the decision in October. <br />.Selectman Jacobson recommended to take priority in reviewing <br />school projects and -related costs, Selectman Mills agrees. To <br />preserve an old building to function is an important aspect to <br />consider. Selectman Mills indicated that the Davis School <br />building is a historical building and should be preserved. <br />Selectman Mills noted that the Superintendent's office and <br />Great Room could be utilized for Town Hall space in the future. <br />Selectman Costa indicated that it is the intention of the <br />hool.Department to allow the use of the Davis School as a Town <br />Hall facility if the high school proposal is agreed upon as <br />related by Dr . Del ours ' s memo, <br />It is the agreement of the Board to take the consideration <br />of Town Hall options under advisement at this time. <br />
