DA ,.+ JUNE 29, 199 3 - <br />Rea ointtents: Items placed on Hold <br />Part-time Dispatchers: <br />Discussion' followed relative to the appointment process of <br />the part-time public safety dispatchers. Rita Sousa of the <br />Personnel Board indicated that there is no objection to the <br />recommendations as made by Police Chief Frye., <br />Chief Frye indicated that the most dependable candidates <br />were selected as. ; +..tjtwed by the Police Chief and Fire <br />Department representative, if the Board approves the <br />appointment, the candidates require a successful physical <br />examination for employment informed Chief Frye. <br />**The motion was made by Selectman Caffyn to appoint; <br />Albert Todino, Matthew Klun r Cheryl Legrice and <br />Walter Pope as part-time Public safety Dispatchers for a <br />term to expire Tune 30, 1994 subject to a successful physical <br />examination. The motion was seconded by selectman Costa. VOTE: <br />Unanimous. -o . <br />A2pointments of Waterways Assistants: <br />*The motion was made by selectman Costa to -appoint; <br />Daniel Bohnenberger and Rick Hannan as Waterways <br />Assistants for a team to expire June 30, 1994. The motion was <br />seconded by selectman Mills. NOTE: Unanimous. - . <br />Council on Aqing Director: <br />r. Whritenour is authorized to review the evaluation of the <br />Council on Aging Director with Ms. Donovan, <br />EO D - ommunit Action statement <br />To receive funds from the Executive office of Communities <br />and Deve opmentt the Town is required to -complete and file <br />Community Action statement indicated Mr. Whritenouro <br />The Community Action statement is also necessary to complete <br />the small Cities Grant to be completed by August informed <br />Mr. Whritenour. Consulting services are necessary to assist with <br />the grant application. <br />**The motion was made by selectman Caffyn to authorize the <br />Executive secretary to expend up to $1500 for the completion of <br />the Community Action statement as requested.
