Wiritenour submitted a proposed correspondence procedure <br />for the Board's review. The goal is to provide full access of <br />all correspondence to Board Members and provide a binder system <br />for press and public review. <br />*The Board is in agreement to turn the binders over on a two <br />weep basis and evaluate the new correspondence ' system in 60 <br />days. 1t was noted that the selectmen will receive a log of all <br />correspondence in their weekly packet. Important materials <br />and pin -ions received from Town counsel will continue to be <br />copied to the Board on a regular basis. <br />Peer to Peer Program <br />Selectman Mills presented the Executive Secretary with the <br />objective to request the assistance of the Executive Office o <br />Communities and Development's Eo Peer -to -Peer Technical <br />Assistance Program for consideration. <br />Mr. Whritenour presented a draft letter to ED requesting <br />support to impler ent .ir noVative or streamlined government <br />processes. Specifically, assistance is required to work with the <br />Public safety committee to develop a proposed public safety <br />management staffing plan noted Mr. Whritenour. <br />Selectman Mills indicted that the Town Planner has been <br />requested to review utilization of the Peer -to -Peer Technical <br />Assistance Program for the Local Comprehensive Plan, <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Mills to authorize the <br />Executive Secretary to send the letter as drafted in support, of <br />the Executive Office of Communities and Development's Peer -to - <br />Peer Technical Assistance Program. VOTE: Unanimous. -o . <br />,Dispatcher Discussion: <br />*The motion was rake by Selectman dills to place the <br />discussion of Dispatchers on the Board's agenda. The motion was <br />seconded y Selectman Jacobson, VOTE: Unanimous. - . <br />***The motion was made by Selectman Caffyn to release the sun <br />of $5000 from the Police Department to the DispatchingSalary- <br />Wage Account for the purpose of funding two dispatchers on the <br />first two shifts seven days per week. The motion was seconded by <br />Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous. - . <br />
