4 <br />.y <br />BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br />MINUTES <br />THURDAY DULY 8r 1993 <br />Present: Selectman Vaccaro, Selectman Millse Selectman Jacobson, <br />Selectman Caffyne Selectman Costa <br />Executive Secretary Robert Whritenor } <br />Guests: Stephen Greelish, Bill Jones, Peter Dini io <br />Meeting Called to order by Chairman Vaccar at 4: o p.m. <br />Lifeguard ointment <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to place the <br />Lifeguard Appointment on the Board's agenda. The motion was <br />seconded by Selectman Mills* -VOTE: Unanimous. -o . <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to appoint Paul <br />Bouroin as Lifeguard for the 1993 summer season as recommended.. <br />The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills, VOTE: Unanimous, <br />-00 <br />Jr r Hi h School Building Committee <br />Stephen Greelish, Bill Tones and Peter Dini io were present <br />to discuss the architectural designer selection process with the <br />Board. As noted by Mr, Greelishr three firms were interviewed by <br />the Jr/Sr High School Building Committee, <br />Drumey, Rosane and Anderson, Gale Associates and <br />Strealovsy and Hoit were the three architectural firms <br />interviewed informed Mr. Greelish. <br />Although the decision was not unanimous, theJr/Sr High <br />School Building ommi ttee voted to recommend the firm of Drumey, <br />Rosane and Anderson as the selected architectural firm to <br />complete the work as outlined in the Request for Proposal noted <br />Mr. Greelish. <br />DRA submitted a bid estimate of $48,000 to complete the <br />necessary site selection process indicated Mr, Greelish, They <br />have anticipated a time f rAme of nine weeks to complete the <br />process and will aid in Town Meeting presentation. Mr41 Greelish <br />noted that DRA did not show prejudice towards either site under <br />current review. <br />4 <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Costa to enter into a <br />contractual agreement with Drumey, Rosane and Anderson to <br />complete the work related to theJr/Sr High School site selection <br />process as outlined in the RPP pending Town Counsel's review and <br />approval of the Standard AIA Contract. The motion was seconded <br />by Selectman Caffyn, VOTE: Unanimous. -o . <br />
