BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page <br />MINUTES <br />MN■ AUGUST 91 1993.1 <br />� plq ill <br />Robert Medeiros re,asheeake Pond <br />Robert Medeiros, Director of the NB Military Bass Anglers <br />Association was present to discuss his request to use the Town <br />Hall parking facility on Saturday and Sunday', August 14t.h and <br />lh, 1993 for tournament participants. <br />Mr. Medeiros also indicated that the -number of participants <br />attending the tournament is not known at this time, The <br />tournament may exceed the permit parameters and increased parking <br />as specified by the Public Access Board and Town of Mas.pee. <br />**The motion was made by selectman Mills to disallow the use <br />of the Town Hall parking lot f c,i l i y . The motion was seconded <br />by Selectman Caffyn.VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br />Perry Ellisr the newly appointed Harbor master indicated <br />that he will rove -the buoy ropes prior to weigh in approximately <br />0 1 from the current placement . The - Board is in agreement, The <br />beach are on the other side of the ramp may also be utilized for <br />weigh in purposes to accommodate the boats. <br />Tournaments consisting of twenty-five or more boats require <br />an Environmental Protection Officer as -per the Ton' <br />specifications in accordance with the Public Access Board. <br />***The motion was made by Selectman Mills to require an EPO for <br />25 or more boats participating in the above tournament. If an . <br />EPO is not present, the Harbor master is authorized to not permit <br />any.furher boats from participating in the tournament. The <br />motion was seconded by selectman Jacobson.VOTE: Unanimous. <br />-0. <br />Mr. Medeiros indicated that he will supply an EPO officer <br />for the above tournament dates, Mr. Whritenour will review and <br />clarify the parking fee' s for use of MashpeeWakey Pond. <br />9: 0 p.m. Al Polsi re: Rental of Pine Tree Place: <br />s requested by the Board, Al Polsi and Selectman Costa were <br />authorizedto-review the rental feasibility of Pine Free Place. <br />Present for discussion were; Anne Shaw and avi-d Bailey.
