The Board has authorized the Executive Secretary to draft a letter of recognition to Anita Olkkola for her outstanding performance working ng as lifeguard on John's Pond on July 25r 1993. K elmatn It is the consensus of the- hoard to schedule a meeting with Attorney Fopelm n and Attorney Lane on Wednesday, September 8, 1993 at 4:30 p.m. to discuss methods of cost control and improving Town Counsel services. Selectman Mills recommended to include a complete update o all pending litigation in the above discussion. Memo from the DPW Director re: Speed Bumps John's Pond Ve,�n+-ene. It is the consensus of the Board to oppose the proposal relative to the use of speed bumps in John's Pond Estates. } Mr. Whritenour will relate the Board's position to Michael Fordo. It is the consensus of the Board to discuss possible land acquisition in Executive ession. Communication from Town Counsel; As requested by the Board, Town Counsel submitted response relative to the new state liquor license laws. As provided under the provisions of the MA General Law; Chapter 13, section 1B, the Board is allowed to convert one seasonal liquor license into a year round liquor license each -year indicated Mr. WhrFitenour.
