BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page <br />MINUTES -PUBLIC HEARING <br />TH,URS AY, sEPTEMB R , 1 - - - - <br />with reference to Public/social Services, Ms, Travers Gay <br />indicated that the Request west for Proposal contained a request <br />for specific projects based on their analysis of need for Mashpee <br />residents. <br />Services that are not currently available to Mashpee <br />residents to serve an immediate benefit were requested for <br />proposal noted Nis. Travers Gay. <br />Selectman Caffyn suggested to conduct a needs assessment <br />study to develop a profile and identify needs. We do not have a <br />direct service in Mashpee noted Selectman f yn. Services <br />should be offered and received in town. <br />Ms. Travers Gay indicated that she intends to work with the <br />Thorne Clinic and other groups to come into Mashpoe, <br />on behalf of the Board of Selectmen, Mr. Whritenour thanked <br />. Travers Gay for the consulting services she ha-s offered t <br />Mashpee. . It was noted that a second Public Hearing, is scheduled <br />on Tuesday, September 7, <br />Being no further comment, Selectman Caffyn closed the Public <br />Hearing at :o p.. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kathleen M.
