Selectman Mills and Selectman Jacobson expressed -pposition to beer and wine sales in this particular area of Town. This area is not the atmosphere for beer and wino sales indicated Selectman Mills. It is difficult to not congregate in this part of Town. Mr. Murray was responsive. He is looking at this area with a total different viewpoint. He does not believe the element will exist, we are a service oriented family explained Mr. Murray. We are trying to operate a business for the service of the Town. Mr. Murray indicated that he intends to purchase the adjacent property to hinder loitring. Being no further comment, Selectman vaccaro closed the Public Nearing at 89.08 p.m. *The motion was made by Selectman Mille to deny the Wine and Malt Package Good Store License application of Bayberry's Country Store. The motion was seconded by Selectman Jacobson. VOTE; Unanimous. - o . Tom Noble re: Test wells: Tom Noble was present to discuss the Installation Restoration Program program with the Board. Mr, Noble indicated that the proposal is a continuation of the investigation begun earlier this year of the plumes effecting Johns and Ashumet Ponds. Maps were enclosed for review detailing the location of eight proposed well locations* one well is currently located on Town owned property explained Mr. Noble. Phase two of the field work is -scheduled to begin in late September indicated Mr. Noble. We will be looking for two plumes of contamination in the Briarwood subdivison and along the western shore of Johns Pond informed Mr. Moyle* 12 p,m, Selectman dills left the Meeting. *The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to support and approve the test well locations as proposed by the Department of the Air Force; -Installation Restoration Program. The motion was seconded by Selectman Caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous. -o. Selectman Mills absent for the vote.
