The phrase should read "the prevention of water pollution."' The words were <br />inadvertently omitted from the bylaw. <br />Article 32: <br />To see if the Torn will vote to puce the following parcels of Town -owned land under the <br />care, custody, management and control of the Conservation Commission and to designate said <br />parcels as conservation land for all purposes included in Chapter 40, Section 8C of the General <br />Laws as it now reads or may hereafter be amended: (Parcels numbered by 1993 Assessors' Map <br />and Block number) a) 53-4, 8.4 acres between Meetinghouse and Noisy Hole Roads adjacent to <br />existing Town conservation lands, excepting that land within 30 feet of the center line of Noisy <br />Hole Road, b -2, . 7 acres on the Santuit River adjacent to the willowbend Country Club just <br />song of route 28, c that portion of 79-17 south of the Commonwealth Electric Company power <br />line easement, consisting of approximately 25 acres on the east side of Turner load adjacent to <br />conservation lands owned by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, d) 80-4, 1.73 acres, <br />primarily wetlands, adjacent to the previously listed parc 1,(e)92- , 18.9 acres n the Falmouth <br />Town Line adjacent to conservation lands owned,by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, f 93- <br />34, 1.18 ages on Red gook and Polaris ris Drive, g 9 -24, 3.15 ages on Red Brook at Polaris <br />Drive and adjacent to existing Town conservation lands, h 9 -2 , 19.8 acres on Great Hay Road <br />adjacent to conservation lands owned by the Mass. Division of Fisheries & wildlife, or take any <br />other action relating thereto. - - <br />Subrnitted by the conservation Commission <br />Exla `on: This article would plane certain lands which are environmentally critical, adjacent to <br />existing conservation areas, specified in the open space plan and/or within the proposed National <br />Wildlife Refuge boundary under .the care and custody of the Conservation Commission as Town <br />conservation lands. Igo Other Town uses have been identified as appropriate for these parcels. <br />Article 33: <br />To see if the Town will vote to amend Article 1 - Section 79-5.1 of the Mashpee Code t <br />No person owning or having the care, custody or control of any dog shall permit such dog to soil <br />or defile or commit any nuisance upon any sidewalk, street, thoroughfare, beach or wedand, in or <br />upon any public property, or in or upon the property of persons other than the owner or persons <br />having the care, custody or control of such dog, unless said person picks up any such waste and <br />disposes of sane in a sanitary manner. This section shall not apply to physically handicapped <br />persons in sole custody or control of said dog.
