BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 4 <br />MINUTES <br />NOONDAY SEPTEIBEI l , 1 <br />Approval and Execution of October Town Meetrn Warrant: <br />*The motion was made by selectman Costa to approve the <br />warrant article as pr posed by the Chief of Police and agreed <br />upon by the School Department authorizing their nsfer of $20,000 <br />from the School Departments budget to reimburse the Police <br />Departments salary/wage account for the purpose of funding a <br />Police Officer Liaison to service the Mashpee school system for <br />180 days, The ren tion was seconded -by Selectman Jacobson, VOTE: <br />Unanimous. 4-00 <br />It was noted that the numbers will appear in correct <br />numerical order after Article 33. <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Dills to approve and <br />execute the October 1993 Town Meeting Warrant as amended. The <br />emotion was seconded by Selectman Jacobson,VOTE: Unanimous. <br />-0 0 <br />125th Anniversary of Mas ee <br />Selectman Jacobson has offered to .coordinate and formulate <br />Mashpees 125th Anniversary Committee. It was noted that several <br />citizens and members of the Historical Commission, Chamber of <br />Commerce, Arts Council and Concert Committee have expressed <br />interest in the above committee. <br />I. <br />Selectman Vaccaro offered his services to assist the 125th <br />Anniversary Committee. It was noted that lashpee was <br />incorporated on May 28, 18700 <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Request for Abatement of Ambulance Bill: <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Dills to approve the <br />ambulance abatement request as -submitted by Carol Lopez in the <br />amount of $37.00. The motion was seconded by Selectman Costa, <br />VOTE: Unanimous. -. <br />Bass Tournaments for Approval <br />It is the agreement of the Board to submit correspondence to <br />the Public Access Board relative to strict enforcement of <br />tournament regulations. <br />Communication was received from the waterways Commission <br />relative to two tournament requests dated October 10 and 24, <br />1. <br />0 <br />
