BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 4 MINUTES NOONDAY SEPTEIBEI l , 1 Approval and Execution of October Town Meetrn Warrant: *The motion was made by selectman Costa to approve the warrant article as pr posed by the Chief of Police and agreed upon by the School Department authorizing their nsfer of $20,000 from the School Departments budget to reimburse the Police Departments salary/wage account for the purpose of funding a Police Officer Liaison to service the Mashpee school system for 180 days, The ren tion was seconded -by Selectman Jacobson, VOTE: Unanimous. 4-00 It was noted that the numbers will appear in correct numerical order after Article 33. *The motion was made by Selectman Dills to approve and execute the October 1993 Town Meeting Warrant as amended. The emotion was seconded by Selectman Jacobson,VOTE: Unanimous. -0 0 125th Anniversary of Mas ee Selectman Jacobson has offered to .coordinate and formulate Mashpees 125th Anniversary Committee. It was noted that several citizens and members of the Historical Commission, Chamber of Commerce, Arts Council and Concert Committee have expressed interest in the above committee. I. Selectman Vaccaro offered his services to assist the 125th Anniversary Committee. It was noted that lashpee was incorporated on May 28, 18700 NEW BUSINESS: Request for Abatement of Ambulance Bill: *The motion was made by Selectman Dills to approve the ambulance abatement request as -submitted by Carol Lopez in the amount of $37.00. The motion was seconded by Selectman Costa, VOTE: Unanimous. -. Bass Tournaments for Approval It is the agreement of the Board to submit correspondence to the Public Access Board relative to strict enforcement of tournament regulations.
