BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 2 <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAY, OCTOBER 181, 1993 <br />APPROVAL of MINUTES: <br />September 27, 1 Executive Session: <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Costa to approve the <br />Executive Session minutes of September 27, 1993 as presented. <br />The motion was seconded by Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous, <br />-o . <br />COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE <br />Advisor from the Historical missi- n: <br />Communication was received from the Historical Commission <br />dated September 30, 1993 relative to hours of the Mashpee <br />Archives. <br />Beginning on Wednesday, October 6. 1993, the Archives will <br />be open to the public on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to :00 <br />p.m. and Wednesdays .from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Additional hours <br />can be-schedule-d by appointment. <br />Letter of Recognition: <br />Selectman vaccaro read aloud the letter of recognition as <br />received from resident Ken Parols i on behalf of Harbor Master <br />Ellis and Detective Corporal Flynn. <br />Mr. Ellis and Mr. Flynn successfully located a stolen boat <br />and motor from Mr. Parolskils property on Monomosooy Island-. <br />*The motion was mace by Selectman Costa to send a letter of <br />appreciation to Mr. Ellis' -and Mr, Flynn on behalf of the Board of <br />Selectmen fortheir successful efforts, The motion was seconded <br />by Selectman Jacobson. VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br />The letters of recognition and appreciation will be retained <br />in the personnel files of the above employeels. <br />: 2 p.m. Leisure Services Director re: Staffin <br />Leisure Service Director, Gus Frederick and Advisory Council <br />members, Maureen Paxton, Ron Roberts and Linda Young were present <br />to discuss the Mission Statement of the Leisure Services <br />Department and employment Or an Administrative Secretary for the <br />department on a full time basis. <br />
