BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAYr NO EMBER 81 1993 <br />Charles Talanian re: Future Development Dick & Ellie ' s <br />Flea Market: <br />Attorney Kirrane indicated that Mr. Talanian has applied for <br />an exemption from the Cape Coed Commission. The mini golf project <br />does not constitute a development of regi-onal impact indicated <br />Attorney Kirrane. We intend to replace an existing business at <br />our expense and have contributed to the improvement of Donna' <br />Lane. <br />Attorney Kirrane requested support from the Selectmen t <br />exempt the mini wolf project from the Cape Cod Commission' <br />review. <br />With regards to the placement of the new entrance, <br />Mr. Talanian indicated that he was instructed by the Director of <br />Public Works and Town Planner to place the new entrance across <br />from-Shellback Way, Mr, Taylor also recommended,to remove the <br />existing mini golf facility by March 1, 1994. <br />It was noted that a portion of the bileath will utilize a <br />portion of the existing mini golf course. <br />Fred Domineco, a► member of the Board of Trustees a, Deer <br />Crossing expressed concerns to the new egress loaned directly <br />across from the Deer Crossing Condominium entrance and related <br />traffic control and stiulatin.to require Police detail t <br />control weekend traffic. <br />*It is the consensus of the Board to defer the exemption <br />determination at this time. The Board will await ruling from <br />Town Counsel as to -the determination of local regulatory . . <br />authority to ultimately review this project. Z A and 'or 'Planning <br />Board <br />Mr. Ta-lanian indicated that he is prepared and willing t <br />address issues of concern as they relate to flea market si-te <br />enforcement and beautification* <br />Adjournment: <br />**The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to adjourn at <br />8:20 p.m. The Board will enter into Executive Session at this <br />time for the purpose of discussing an update .n grievance <br />procedures. The Board will not re -convene in Open Session. The <br />motion was seconded by Selectman Caffyn. NOTE: Unanimous. <br />- .
