BOARD F SELECTMEN Fame MINUTES MONDAY, NOEMDE 1993 oo p.m. PUBLIC DISCUSSION: Clarification: Independence House: A center for abused women and children. Access House: A centerfor runaway teenagers. Indian Tribal council Statement: Anita Little read a statement on behalf of the Mashp a Wampanoa'g Indian Tribal Council expressing serious concerns to the siting of the proposed high school in the center of Matshpee. (enclosed) Selectman Mills indicated that,the selectmen will make the final determination with reference to the site selection of the proposed high school. on Monday, November 15, 1993 at 7:15 p.m. Status of onna's Lane: Donna Dietz was present to discuss the status of Dona's Lane with the Board. Ms. Dietz indicated that the road was a gift given to her by her parents in 1966. Her father is a disabled eteran , and for sentimental reasons, she would prefer to allow the road to remain as entitled, Selectman costa recommended to obtain further opinions. In his opinion, the road should become an extension of Job's Fishing Road. Selectman Caffyn noted that Job's Fishing Road although currently open to public passage, is a private road. Donna's Lane is also the first completed bikeway/pathway in Ma-shpee . No action at this time.- 7:20 p.m. Charles ' Talania re: Future De elo nt of Dick Ellie'Ellie's Flea Market Charles Talanian and Attorney Kevin Kirrane were present to update the Board on the future development of Dick Ellies Flea Market and miniature golf course. I The new site of the proposed mini golf course will he located on the property adjacent to Liquor Warehouse informed Attorney Kirrane, A portion of the flea market will be utilized for access to the mini golf course. The mini golf course will be located approximately 0�1001 away from Route 28 noted Attorney Kirrane, The new facility will include natural ponds and a natural landscape. The site is envisioned as a professional golf course opposed to a mini golf indicated Mr, Talanian. 0
