BOARD F SELECTMEN Fame <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAY, NOEMDE 1993 <br />oo p.m. PUBLIC DISCUSSION: <br />Clarification: Independence House: A center for abused <br />women and children. Access House: A centerfor runaway <br />teenagers. <br />Indian Tribal council Statement: Anita Little read a <br />statement on behalf of the Mashp a Wampanoa'g Indian Tribal <br />Council expressing serious concerns to the siting of the proposed <br />high school in the center of Matshpee. (enclosed) <br />Selectman Mills indicated that,the selectmen will make the <br />final determination with reference to the site selection of the <br />proposed high school. on Monday, November 15, 1993 at 7:15 p.m. <br />Status of onna's Lane: Donna Dietz was present to discuss <br />the status of Dona's Lane with the Board. Ms. Dietz indicated <br />that the road was a gift given to her by her parents in 1966. <br />Her father is a disabled eteran , and for sentimental reasons, <br />she would prefer to allow the road to remain as entitled, <br />Selectman costa recommended to obtain further opinions. In <br />his opinion, the road should become an extension of Job's Fishing <br />Road. <br />Selectman Caffyn noted that Job's Fishing Road although <br />currently open to public passage, is a private road. Donna's <br />Lane is also the first completed bikeway/pathway in Ma-shpee . <br />No action at this time.- <br />7:20 p.m. Charles ' Talania re: Future De elo nt of Dick <br />Ellie'Ellie's Flea Market <br />Charles Talanian and Attorney Kevin Kirrane were present to <br />update the Board on the future development of Dick Ellies Flea <br />Market and miniature golf course. <br />I The new site of the proposed mini golf course will he <br />located on the property adjacent to Liquor Warehouse informed <br />Attorney Kirrane, A portion of the flea market will be utilized <br />for access to the mini golf course. <br />The mini golf course will be located approximately 0�1001 <br />away from Route 28 noted Attorney Kirrane, The new facility will <br />include natural ponds and a natural landscape. The site is <br />envisioned as a professional golf course opposed to a mini golf <br />indicated Mr, Talanian. <br />0 <br />
