"A 1�` <br />'BOARD of SELECTMEN Page 2 <br />MINUTES <br />MNDi , NOVEMBER 151 19 9 3 <br />COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Communication from DEP re: Septage Lagoon_Closure <br />Correspondence was received from the Department of <br />Environmental Protection datedNovember 4, 1993 relative to the <br />approval -of the closure of the Town'Town's setae disposal area. <br />No action necessary. <br />Advisor relative to renewal of sign permits for New <br />seabur <br />Communication was received from New Seabury Limited <br />Partnership dated October 22, 1993 relative to their renewal of a <br />state sign permit located on route 28 at the Rotary Pine Tree <br />Circle. <br />*The motion was made .by selectman costa to approve without <br />objection, the renewal of the state sign as located in Mashp ee. <br />The motion was seconded by Selectman Jacobson. VOTE <br />Unanimous. - . selectman Caffyn absent. <br />Request from Commonwealth Electric <br />Communication was received from Commonwealth Electric dated <br />November 15, 1993 relative to the pet it i ors to place poles near <br />the entrance to. the new stop and Shop facility. (Commonwealth <br />Electric Plan 101 <br />As noted by Mr. Whritenourr a Public Hearing was conducted <br />at 9:00 a.m. on November 15, 1993, The Director of Public Works <br />was in support of the petition. Mr. Wiritenour as Hearing <br />Officer, recommended to approve -the petition with the use of a <br />Mashee Detail Police Officer. <br />**The motion was made by Selectman . Mills to approve <br />Commonwealth Electric Plan 10014 with a M shpee Detail Police <br />Officer as recommended. The motion was -seconded by Selectman <br />Costa . VOTE: Unanimous.- - . Selectman Caffyn absent, <br />Communication from the Board of Health: <br />Correspondence was received from the Board of Health, Elias <br />McQuaid dated November 9, 1993 relative to a scheduled Public <br />Hearing on December 2, 1993 at 7:00 p.m, in the Great loom, Town <br />Hall. The public is invited to attend the discussion relative to <br />the Alliance for Base Clean-up. <br />
