BOARD of SELECTMEN Page <br />MINUTES <br />MONDA , NOVEMBER 29, 1993 <br />COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Letter of Appreciation: <br />A letter was received on behalf of the Flaherty Family in <br />appreciation for the professional and timely assistance receive <br />from the Mashpee Fire Department on Tuesday, July 6, 1993, <br />*The letter of appreciation will be forwarded to the Fire <br />Department for review. <br />Communication from -the Plannincf- Board <br />Correspondence was received from Anthony Ferra amo , Chairman <br />of the Planning Board dated November 19, 1993 relative to <br />involvement in the selection process for an Assistant Town <br />Planner. <br />It is the consensus of the Board to allow -input from the <br />Planning Department into the select i on process, The Executive <br />Secretary, a Selectman liaison, the Town Planner and <br />representation from the Personnel Board will also give input into <br />the process. <br />*The above interiew panel will recommend three finalists to <br />the Board of selectmen for consideration, The selected finalists <br />will be interviewed by the Board for appointment. <br />ca Cock Commission Hearin re: Mini Golf Proposal: <br />The CCC has scheduled a hearing on Tines day ► December 71 199 <br />at 7: o p.m. Town -Hall relative to the Mini Golf proposal and <br />request of Mr. Tal_anian for exemption from the Commission's <br />review because the project does not constitute a development of <br />regional impacts DPI <br />*The motion was mace by selectman costa,to place the <br />discussion of the Mini Golf Proposal on the Board's agenda, The <br />motion was seconded by Selectman Mills. NOTE:Unanimous. -o. <br />Selectman Jacobson absent. <br />Selectman Costa indicated that Mr. Talanian requested the <br />Board support his request for an exemption from the Cape Cod <br />Commission's review at an earl-ier meeting. <br />Mr. Talanian has worked closely with the Town to develop <br />Donna' s -Lane noted selectman Costa, The Town has committed to <br />support the relocation of the mini wolf, Selectman Costa <br />indicated that the Planning Board has local jurisdiction over the <br />project as ruled by Tor' Counsel, <br />
