■ <br />BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAYr NOVEMBER 29, 1993 <br />COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Cape..Cod Commission Hearing: Mini Golf Proposal: <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Costa to support Charles <br />Tal nian's request to exempt the mini golf project from the Cape <br />Cod Commission's review. The motion was seconded by Selectman <br />Caf f n . VOTE: Unanimous. - . Selectman Jacobson absent. <br />Communication from the Town Clerk: <br />Correspondence was received from Jane Labute, Town Clerk <br />relative to inadequate funding. The Finance Committee did not <br />support additional funds -for the December Special Town Meeting <br />and Election. As a result, the Town Clerk will be in debt for <br />the May Annua 1 .Town Meeting and Election. <br />It is the consensus of the Board to consult the Finance <br />Committ-ee with respect to their justification to not fund the <br />above. <br />Boat Ramp Regulations <br />Mr. Whritenour indicated that he recently attended a meeting <br />with Jack Shepard of the Public Access Board and Dick Murray of <br />the Department of Environmental Law Enforcement to discuss the <br />state boat ramp and access. Selectman Mills was also present <br />for discussion. <br />Draft ideas have been presented to the Waterways Commission <br />for input related Mr. Whritenour. Proposed regulations will be <br />submitted for the Board's review at the next scheduled <br />Selectmen's meeting. With the Board's approval, the proposed <br />regulations will be forwarded to the state for consideration. <br />Mr, Whritenour indicated that a public hearing will be <br />scheduled in Enid January to present the new regulations. <br />Grant Update <br />EOCB: No response to date with reference to the Small <br />Cities Grant application. Mr. Whri-tenour will pursue additional <br />grant funding offered by EOCD. <br />Cape Cod Commission Supplemental Grant Programs <br />Mr. Whritenour will review the pilot grant program offered by the <br />CCC offering $50,000 to Upper Cape communities. <br />
