INTRODUCTION <br /> At the March 3, 1969 Town Meeting, it was unanimously <br /> voted Article 26 of the Warrant "'instruct the Board of <br /> Selectmen to appoint a permanent Personnel-Board under <br /> the provisions of the Massachusetts General Daws, Chapter <br /> 41, Section 1980, as may be from time to time amended, con- <br /> sisting of five registered voters, who are not otherwise <br /> employees of the Town, or serving the Town regularly-in any <br /> elective capacity; their first terms of office to be one for <br /> one year; two for two years; and two for throe years, and <br /> thereafter succeeding appointments to be for three year <br /> terms." <br /> In accordance with these instructions, the Board of <br /> Selectmen has appointed the following five 5voters as the <br /> initial members -of the Personnel Board: Henry J. Bode, <br /> Frank J. Homeyer, Howard Rohdin, Nicholas T. Samaras, anti <br /> Donald M. Smith. <br /> After many deliberations, consultations, and consider- <br /> ations <br /> on i er- <br /> ations of other salary plans in the Commonwealth, -and more <br /> particularly in Cape Cod, the. Personnel Board has developed <br /> a Salary Administration Plan, which Is submitted herewith <br /> to the Town of Mashpee with the recommendation that it <br /> beadopted as aBy-Law. <br /> . <br />
