PREAMBLE <br /> This By-Law establishes a Salary Administration ation Plan, <br /> hereinafter called The Plan, which ciassifles the several posi- <br /> tions in -the Town into groups, establishes salary schedules, <br /> establishes so-called "fringe benefits", or "'indirect pay"' pro- <br /> visions, such as holidays, vacation with pay, sick leave, and <br /> the like; and empowers the Personnel Board, which was <br /> created -at the March 3,, 1969 Town meeting, to administer <br /> The Plan, -as hereinafter provided, and to represent the <br /> interests of boar taxpayers and Towns employees. <br /> In addition, the Personnel Board, hereinafter called the <br /> Board, shall have the additional duties and functions of a <br /> Personnel Review Board, pursuant to General Laws, Chapter <br /> 40, Section 21B, to adjust grievances of Town employees other <br /> than. those appointed by the school committee. <br /> 6 <br />
